Colbree Precision
|
|
Since it's foundation in 1985, Colbree Precision has always looked for ways to improve our service.
Originally formed as a sub-contract sheet metal shop, our range of services has been extended as
customer needs have changed. Although we still retain our original sheet metal work capability
we have added Turning, Milling, Detail Presswork and Assembly. We have also undertaken complete
project management for some of our customers. CNC (Computer Numerical Control) was introduced in
1988 and a policy of continuous investment has ensured that we are at the fore of modern manufacturing technology.
However, we don't stop at manufacturing. We have also invested heavily in the equipment we consider
necessary to support our activities, including the latest in inspection and cleaning facilities.
In 1997 we introduced a company wide computerised production management system. With on-time delivery
becoming ever more crucial we can provide real-time progress reports and schedule our resources
accurately, months in advance.

Precision Aerospace Component Engineering
|
|
Following a successful management buyout in 1998, Precision Aerospace Component Engineering,
or Precision Aerospace Fasteners as it was then known, was launched with the firm intention
of becoming a highly effective sub contractor to the aerospace industry. In more recent years,
Precision Aerospace has achieved steady growth of both its product range and its
output capability.
This excellent performance has been primarily due to two key factors. Firstly
the determination that Precision Aerospace Component Engineering would
not be left behind by new technical advances. One example of the effectiveness of
this philosophy lies in the computerisation of production scheduling where, thanks
to the installation of a digital control system, Precision Aerospace are able to
offer customers more accurate lead times and delivery dates.
Secondly, is the emphasis on quality which pervades
every aspect of operations at Precision Aerospace Component Engineering. Awareness
of the requirements made in the industry today has served to strengthen the organisation's
fundamental determination to provide nothing less than the very best product supported
by the very best customer service.
