The following screenshots illustrate the process of taking an order that requires material
to be bought, a product to be made and then shipped. Click on the thumbnails to see them

Order entry:
pick the customer, product/job, enter quantity, required delivery date, price
|

Order approval:
the order is planned, stock allocated, etc. when it is approved, pick the order press Approve
|

Order acknowledgement:
an order acknowledgement document is automatically produced when the order is approved
|

Purchase material:
stock shortages are detected when the order is planned and purchase suggestions automatically added to the purchase schedule. To create a purchse order pick items from the schedule and press Create PO
|

|
Purchase approval:
the purchase order must be approved before it is placed with the supplier, pick the orders to be approved and press Approve
|

|
|
Purchase order:
the purchase order document is automatically produced when the order is approved. This can be printed, faxed or emailed
|

|
|
Goods-in:
when the goods arrive from the supplier they are booked-in to stock
|

|
Approve works order:
when all material is available the works order can be approved. Pick the works order and press Approve
|

|
Works order:
the works order documentation is produced automatically when the order is approved
|

Complete works order:
the product is booked-in to stock when it is completed, select the works order, enter the finished qantity, press Book-In
|

|
Raise dispatch note:
once the product (or stock) is available, raise the dispatch note. Pick the items to be dispatched and press Create DN
|

Approve dispatch:
the dispatch note must be approved before stock is moved and paper-work produced. Pick the dispatches to be approved and press Approve
|

Dispatch note:
the dispatch paper-work is produced automatically when the dispatch is approved
|

Simple overview menu:
this is one of many ways you can access the system, this one gives easy access to the main functions

Event diary:
this is a consolidated to-do list that gives timely reminders of what needs doing and what needs chasing, there are many to-do lists available (what to buy, what to make, what to dispatch, etc), they are maintained automatically by the planning system

Production method:
production methods specify the materials, quantities, processes and times involved to make something, they can be arbitrarily complex, this is a very simple example
